Topaz - I know that it's disliked by many, but I think it looks great on a 205 GTi. Shame that they're seemingly so thin on the ground these days, even compared to other colours or LE models that were also only made for a year or so

Topaz is good, but Haze is slightly better as it is more bluey. I saw a haze CTI today and it looked great, though they must have white front indicators IMHO as the orange doesn't go

im suprised how many people like topaz, it wouldnt be my pick of the bunch.

 

if i had to pick it would have to be a ph 1.5 1.9 black

 

i wouldnt mind a silver one just because they are thin on the ground.

IMO lazer/miami/sorrento are a little on the common side and yellow is one of them colours you grow out of after afew weeks.

Graphite for me then Miami, the Graphite looks black at night and grey in the day, two tone colour.

 

I think red and green cars are very unlucky indeed, never having those colours again, keep the green on the trees and grass, not on cars unless its an electric type lol.

I'm torn.

 

A tidy laser/Miami or a Alpine white track slag.

Having said that, I do think my Graphite grey looks nice but silver is a bit boring.

 

Alpine and Miami also look sooooo good on goodwood style wheels.

Haze was never an option for the GTI colour though was it, just for the CTI? Only the limited (one year? ) run of Topaz on the GTI.

Yes, my first 1.6 GTI is white (still got it) & I have another white one outside with my black trackday car mid rebuild & a cherry red I'm working on getting inside to start the rebuild on soon.

I've voted white, but Cherry was running it a close second. I can't believe nobody voted for Sorrento!

 

I'd love to be picking up a brand new white 205 GTi, what a great feeling.

Interesting, there seems to be quite an even spread of votes across all the colours (except sorrento!)

I was torn between cherry and steel, in the end I plumped for cherry as it more eye-catching and quite by coincidence it ended up bringing cherry level pegging with steel on 10.
