What Do These Go To, And What Are They For?

Recommended Posts

Hi all

On the attached image, the two hoses on the left. Any idea what theyre for? And if they are from before or after the throttle plate, i.e. do they have vacuum when the throttle is closed?

Cheers

small pipe is to the charcoal canister, larger is an oil breather (should be obvious really as its connected to the cam cover)

Its not so obvious on mine as i have a whacking great turbo in the way and half the hoses have been rigged up to perform alternative functions. Basically wondered if the lower of the left hand hoses which i think you are saying is for charcoal canister, would provide vacuum for brake servo?
