Check Engine Light Under Hard Acceleration

Hello all, I have an issue with my MI16. Its a USA model and the check engine light comes on under somewhat hard acceleration. It stays on until it goes back to idle then goes out. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? Thanks for your assistance,
