Forum Running Pretty Slowly - Back Again!

our host has been upgrading their database servers from MySQL 4.1 to 5

and it seems that they've now got some problems as this forum (as well as

my other forums) are intermittently running very slow. there's nothing i can

do about it at the moment but wait, so i have to ask for your patience.

Unfortunately I get a lot of database errors recently. Also the forum is very slow in the afternoon and evenng (possibly due to the americans getting online then?)
