ATK 137 1 Cars Posted February 2, 2014 Always loved 2305 GTi's, my father had a cherry red 1.9 F Reg GTI when I was a nipper, so have good memories of them! Had a 1992 J Reg in red about five years ago for a few months, but sadly hasd to sell it as we were moving house and other things took priority. Until yesterday when I travelled 3 hours to Shewsbury to pick up this 1991 GTI in steel grey. High mileage at 180K but lots has been done to it (rear beam done, head rebuilt etc), and the seller gave me confidence - very helpful indeed. Drove her home with a massive grin on my face - didn't miss a beat at all! Other than a refurb set of alloys which I'll be sticking on her (and new tyres) and giving the paintwork a good seeing to, don't have anything planned and want to keep it relatively standard (has already been lowered, Magnex backbox and has K&N air filter). 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
