Help Needed Regarding Bilstein Inserts

Recommended Posts

arwel

Hi people, I'm need of some help with my insert. I'm in need of a new insert for my Bilsteins. They're the challenge spec peter Lloyd items. My insert has the number: 5109V36 0545H1

My mate who has a spare insert which looks identical to mine and feels the same resistance wise has the part number: 57644 300 200.

Are these the same type or is there a difference?

Cheers

Arwel

damping rate on the challenge inserts will be far lower, the last 6 digits of you mates inserts are the compression and rebound rates.

no idea on the challenge damping rates though.

Cheers dude, I'm trying to find out what the hell the numbers on mine mean as I can't find it anywhere. A pair of new ones are going to hurt the bank account big time haha

inserts aren't that expensive I don't think, drop kev at kam racing a line, I know escort ones are £120 a piece and very similar, just different damping rates.

kev might be able to help with the part numbers too.
