What 8V Cam Is This?

Hi all

 

Quick query.

 

A friend has an xu 8v head with a cam in but we do not know what it is or who its made by.

 

It has 496 stamped in the end and has 11mm of lift and is running solid lifters. It also has paint on it as a std cam would but this is not a std cam....

 

Any ideas?

all 8v xu's are solid lifter .

 

probably a catcam I think, a regrind.

only a wild guess im afraid, might be an old number, also 11 isnt a lot of lift for these.
