Anti Roll Bar

Can I remove the bar without having to drop the sub frame out?

 

Silly question but better to ask 1st than to try and struggle and fail dismally

nope, unless you don't mind cutting it in two...

 

 

you only need to drop the rear of the subframe however, and loosen the front.

was thinking maybe once undone the bush mounts,pulling out from either side

 

funny really i managed to swap a complete steering rack on my transit coz there is loads of room it just slid out from the drivers side,oh well just a few bolts more

rack is possible yes but due to the shape of the ARB it'll be a no.

I did this the other day, it's only 6 bolts to drop the subframe, the steering rack/column has enough give to let it swing down just enough

When we get some drier weather will get the bar out and get it sent off to the powder coaters
