Burning Smell Through Heater Vents

Recommended Posts

Neil205

Took the 1.9 out for a drive yesterday and have always had a slight burning smell from the heater vents , this seems to be getting bit worse now , I do have a small leak from radiator thermostat sensor in the radiator , need to get a new washer for this but any ideas to the burning smell , I can't see anything else ?

Smell is more like oil burning I'd say

I say you've got a small oil leak in the bay and it's vapour is making its way into the cabin. Does it go away if you change the air to recirculate around the cabin? - saying that, with the many flimsy bulkhead grommits on a 205 it'll still get in!
